There are numerous ways to wallpaper around sockets and switches!! Whichever way you choose, make sure you turn off the electric first.
1. Loosen the switch or remove.
2. Wallpaper goes over the switch.
3. Use a pencil to mark all four corners.
4. Starting from the centre of the four corners, gently poke a hole in the centre of the switch.
5. Cut diagonally to your mark on the corners.
6. Repeat this process so all four corners have been cut.
7. Trim the excess paper off ensuring you still have enough to go behind the switch.
8. Gently manipulate the paper behind the switch.
9. Finally smooth off and re-fix the switch.
10. Do not wipe the switch until fully secured back in place.
11. Ensure no paste is left on the surface.
12. Turn the electric back on.
